Fortunately, or Unfortunately, We Have Unlimited Possibilities for Future Expansion
With of the order of one hundred of the world's poorest nations having an equivalent gross per capita income of less than US $5,000 per annum (and fifty or so with less than US $2,000), it will be a long time before Mangosteen has a shortage of developing world nations that that fit our criteria for serving as Host Destinations.

We don't intend to actively work with all one hundred at this point of time, but only political instability and extreme unpredictability will force us to remove troubled nations from consideration as future Host Destinations.

We will not however forget the scientists and students of such nations, taking every opportunity to invite individuals to attend Meetings in neighbouring Host Destination countries.  For example, we will not be working in Liberia in the foreseeable future - but Liberian scientists and students are encouraged to participate in our Meetings in nearby West African states.

Our Existing Host Destinations
As it stands, we have 3 Host Destinations - the neighbouring countries of Senegal and The Gambia in West Africa (known locally as the Senegambia region), and Ecuador in South America.

A third West African nation, Ghana, will be confirmed in the near future.  The next in the pipeline is the unique island paradise that is Madagascar.

Within each Host Destination there are a range of fascinating possibilities for visitors from a strange land - little Ecuador alone has the Andes, the Amazon rain forest, the Pacific coast and Quito's old town, all within a few short miles of each other.

Request a Specific Destination
Should you be looking to hold either a private or open scientific Meeting or Gathering for any group of individuals in a specific destination that we do not yet cover, then please contact us to change that.

We can help you pin down the perfect venue in any developing nation, and then make the arrangements and provide the essential know-how that will guarantee it goes ahead in the way in which you want it to.
