PROPOSE THE TITLE FOR A NEW MEETING

New Meetings from Scratch ... All from Your Interests and Input
Be the spark - please give us your ideas for a new meeting or two - it's a simple process, with no commitment on your part, and if enough scientists in the field are interested in participating then we will make it happen:

1 - Choose a Field for a Meeting.

2 - Choose a Location for the Meeting (see existing Host Destination Options).

3 - Choose a Date - or a number or range of Dates for the Meeting - not less than 12 months and not more than 18 months from today's date.

4 - Email us the Proposed Field, Destination and Dates.

5 - We review your suggestion - and once approved, list it as a proposed meeting.

6 - The next 8 to 12 months are sign-up time, reserved for interested individuals to make inquiries and express their preliminary interest in the meeting.  At this point all interest is non-committal - signed-up 'Prospective Participants' are free to change their minds and at any point.

7 - Once a pre-determined minimum, a 'Critical Mass', of signed-up Prospective Participants is achieved, we confirm that interest and subsequently change the status of the meeting from 'Proposed' to 'Confirmed' - at this point it is placed on the Meeting Calendar.

Building on a Concept
Mangosteen is a new venture, as such, we're very much building at present.

As far as our Meetings are concerned, we need to build a reputation for quality and high standards, and we need to build a Meeting Calendar covering the full spectrum of research fields encompassed by the biological, chemical and physical sciences.

To build the best possible Meeting Calendar we need to offer Meetings that are of interest to you the scientists that will participate.  The best people to help us ensure that we have well focused programmes are the individuals that are most interested, that will attend, and benefit directly from participation - so we'd appreciate your proposals for some of the Meetings that you'd like to see on our Calendar.  You name it, if it's a valid research field, emerging or established, we'll run a meeting based around your suggestion.  All that it takes after the initial proposal is a group of like-minded individuals who are also interested in participating.
